Nevada Tax Rates (https://nevadataxrates.com) is an investigative civic-data portal in the Nevada Civic Accountability platform tracking every tax, fee, fine, occupational licensing extraction, utility/telecom surcharge, healthcare provider assessment, employer payroll tax, tuition, rental, remittance, and revenue authority of the State of Nevada and its counties.

## Operating Definition
Everything received by a Nevada government body is within this project's tax-and-government-receipts audit. We preserve official statutory classifications and track private regulated expenses separately from government treasury receipts so gross consumer pass-through and upstream business remittances are never double-counted. Custodial receipts (NRS 120A.620), intergovernmental transfers, statutory ceilings, third-party surcharges, and private statutory association assessments (NRS 687A.060) are tagged and excluded from additive state treasury revenue totals.
